Section for Kirby & The Amazing Mirror ?[edit]
Greetings. This is my first time leaving a talk page post, so hopefully I'm doing this right. I've skulked around WiKirby for a long time as an anon, so I know about the four tildes thing at least. Anyway, I wanted to ask if this page could also talk about things like the hub rooms in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, since those also kind of feel like rest areas. There are no enemies, there are usually Copy Essences, and when you hit the Big Switch, it heals you, so it has a lot of similarities. Would people be alright if I added that to the page? - Personally, I can see the similarities, but I don't believe they should be here unless there is any official material referring to them as such. Big Switches in general fully heal, so I don't think that should be used as consideration. Rest Areas as defined here allow you to save in some modes, or to take a break between battles like in areas. The hubs are more like entrances; remind me of the lobby of Mt. Dedede for example. Plus, if we considered them as such, one could argue all rooms before most bosses are Rest Areas as well, as they feature healing items and Copy Abilities and have no enemies. - Gigi (talk • edits) 18:43, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I guess I wasn't sure about it, so I'm glad I asked first. Thank you for getting back to me quickly.
- Also, hi, Gigi! It's cool that my first talk page post got answered by the Editor-in-Chief herself. I've been to a lot of other wikis where you'd be lucky to ever see the head honcho, let alone talk to them. Fruit Nut (talk) 18:46, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- All good! To be honest, you do actually bring a good point that we may need to revise this page in terms of what it covers. But at least right now, I feel it's best not to expand until that is properly decided.
- And nice to meet you! I try to keep watch on edits and be present, and ultimately I also just an editor like everyone else here. Don't be a stranger, and good work so far. - Gigi (talk • edits) 18:52, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. I've been really impressed with the wiki for years and I thought I would contribute, since despite how much better it is than the Fandom one, there are still some rough spots here and there which tend to go under the radar. I've done anon edits here and there, but now I want to take it to the next level. Maybe I could even do a novel page one day. Fruit Nut (talk) 18:57, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
