Hello,
I’m experiencing a strange issue with event times in The Events Calendar.
When I create or edit an event in the WordPress admin area, the start and end times are saved correctly. For example:
- Start time: 8:00 AM
- End time: 11:00 AM
After saving, if I reopen the event in the editor, the times are still correct (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM).
However, on the frontend, the start time is displayed correctly, but the end time is displayed incorrectly. For example:
- Backend: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Frontend: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
What’s even stranger is that if I change the end time by one hour (for example, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 AM), the frontend changes accordingly (from 8:00 PM to 7:00 PM). It seems that the end time is being displayed with an additional +9 hours.
Things I have already tried:
- Verified the WordPress timezone settings.
- Changed the timezone mode in The Events Calendar.
- Enabled site-wide timezone settings.
- Cleared all caches.
The event data appears to be stored correctly, and the problem only affects the frontend display of the end time.
Has anyone encountered this issue before or knows what could be causing the end time to be offset by exactly 9 hours?
Thank you.
