Supporting Open Source Projects

Blackfire finds deep roots in Open Source Projects, being originally created by Symfony Core Team members. We are grateful to all individuals who build great software that benefit to entire communities, for free.

We’re proud to sponsor some of them!

Symfony

Β« Symfony is a set of PHP Components, a Web Application framework, a Philosophy, and a Community β€” all working together in harmony. Β»

Blackfire heavily relies on Symfony components, and our team is proud to have contributed to the Project since 2014.

Since January 2018, Symfony SAS acts as an independent organization, supporting the community and organizing events (SymfonyLives and SymfonyCons).

Blackfire sponsors the Symfony project with a monthly donation.

Django Software Foundation

Development of Django is supported by an independent foundation established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Like most open-source foundations, the goal of the Django Software Foundation is to promote, support, and advance its open-source project: in that case, the Django Web framework.

Blackfire is a Silver corporate sponsor of the Foundation.

Sylius

Sylius is a modern platform for tailored eCommerce solutions fully based on Symfony.

It is constructed from fully decoupled and flexible e-commerce components for PHP. It is also a set of Symfony bundles, which integrate the components into the full-stack framework. On top of that, Sylius is also a complete e-commerce platform crafted from all these building blocks.

Blackfire supports Sylius with a monthly donation, and a free Production subscription.

PHPStan

PHPStan is a static code analyzer that focuses on finding errors in your code without actually running it. It catches whole classes of bugs even before you write tests for the code. It moves PHP closer to compiled languages in the sense that the correctness of each line of the code can be checked before you run the actual line.

Blackfire supports PHPStan with a monthly donation.

Whoops

whoops is an error handler framework for PHP. Out-of-the-box, it provides a pretty error interface that helps you debug your web projects, but at heart it’s a simple yet powerful stacked error handling system.

Blackfire supports whoops with a monthly donation.
