Akorbi Digital RunMyProcess makes it easy to create applications for complex business applications, such as budget application and contract management. CData Connect AI creates a live connection to Adobe Analytics and can be used to generate an OData API (natively supported in RunMyProcess) for Adobe Analytics. By pairing RunMyProcess with CData Connect AI, you get true cloud-to-cloud connectivity to all your SaaS and cloud-based Big Data and NoSQL sources - no need to migrate your data or write your own integrations. Simply connect to Connect AI from RunMyProcess as you would any other REST service and get instant, live access to your Adobe Analytics data.
In this article, we walk through connecting to Adobe Analytics from CData Connect AI and accessing Adobe Analytics data through an OData feed in RunMyProcess.
To work with live Adobe Analytics data in RunMyProcess, we need to connect to Adobe Analytics from Connect AI, provide user access to the connection, and create a Workspace for the Adobe Analytics data.
CData Connect AI uses a straightforward, point-and-click interface to connect to data sources.
Adobe Analytics uses the OAuth authentication standard. To authenticate using OAuth, create an app to obtain the OAuthClientId, OAuthClientSecret, and CallbackURL connection properties. See the "Getting Started" section of the help documentation for a guide.
GlobalCompanyId is a required connection property. If you do not know your Global Company ID, you can find it in the request URL for the users/me endpoint on the Swagger UI. After logging into the Swagger UI Url, expand the users endpoint and then click the GET users/me button. Click the Try it out and Execute buttons. Note your Global Company ID shown in the Request URL immediately preceding the users/me endpoint.
Report Suite ID (RSID) is also a required connection property. In the Adobe Analytics UI, navigate to Admin -> Report Suites and you will get a list of your report suites along with their identifiers next to the name.
After setting the GlobalCompanyId, RSID and OAuth connection properties, you are ready to connect to Adobe Analytics.
π Configuring a connection (Salesforce is shown)When connecting to Connect AI through the REST API, the OData API, or the Virtual SQL Server, a Personal Access Token (PAT) is used to authenticate the connection to Connect AI. It is best practice to create a separate PAT for each service to maintain granularity of access.
After connecting to Adobe Analytics, create a workspace for your desired table(s).
With the connection, PAT, and Workspace configured, you are ready to connect to Adobe Analytics data from RunMyProcess.
With the connection to Adobe Analytics and OData endpoints created, we are ready to add Adobe Analytics data to RunMyProcess for Retrieval.
Now, you have created a provider and connector to retrieve Adobe Analytics data.
