Always-on applications rely on automatic failover capabilities and real-time data access. CData Sync integrates live Anaplan data into your SQL Server instance, allowing you to consolidate all of your data into a single location for archiving, reporting, analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and more.
Using CData Sync, you can replicate Anaplan data to SQL Server. To add a replication destination, navigate to the Connections tab.
The Java version requires the Microsoft SQL Server JDBC driver, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center. Copy the JDBC driver to the lib folder of your Java Web server to make a connection.
π Enter the connection details. You are now connected to SQL Server and can use it as both a source and a destination.
NOTE: You can use the Label feature to add a label for a source or a destination.
π Add a label. In this article, we will demonstrate how to load Anaplan data into SQL Server and utilize it as a destination.
You can configure a connection to Anaplan from the Connections tab. To add a connection to your Anaplan account, navigate to the Connections tab.
The driver supports authenticating with Basic, Certificate, or OAuth. In every case, set Region to the region where your Anaplan account data is hosted (e.g., , which is the default).
Set AuthScheme to , then supply your Anaplan User and Password. If your workspace uses single sign-on (SSO), you must be assigned as an Exception User to use Basic authentication.
Set AuthScheme to , then supply the Certificate, CertificateType, and PrivateKey properties (and the matching CertificatePassword / PrivateKeyPassword if either is encrypted). The certificate must be a CA-issued X.509 certificate registered with your Anaplan tenant administrator.
Register a custom OAuth application in Anaplan, then set the following properties:
See the Getting Started chapter of the help documentation for a guide to creating a custom OAuth app and using OAuth.

π Schedule your job to run automatically.Once you have configured the replication job, click Save Changes. You can configure any number of jobs to manage the replication of your Anaplan data to SQL Server.
Once all the required configurations are made for the job, select the Anaplan table you wish to replicate and click Run. After the replication completes successfully, a notification appears, showing the time taken to run the job and the number of rows replicated.
