The CData JDBC Driver for Auth0 enables you to use the data transformation components in CloverDX (formerly CloverETL) to work with Auth0 as sources. In this article, you will use the JDBC Driver for Auth0 to set up a simple transfer into a flat file.
Start by setting the Profile connection property to the location of the Auth0 Profile on disk (e.g. C:\profiles\Auth0.apip). Next, set the ProfileSettings connection property to the connection string for Auth0 (see below).
Create a Machine to Machine application in your Auth0 Dashboard under Applications, then authorize it for the Auth0 Management API with the required scopes.
For assistance in constructing the JDBC URL, use the connection string designer built into the Auth0 JDBC Driver. Either double-click the JAR file or execute the jar file from the command-line.
java -jar cdata.jdbc.api.jar
Fill in the connection properties and copy the connection string to the clipboard.
👁 Using the built-in connection string designer to generate a JDBC URL (Salesforce is shown.)A typical JDBC URL is below:
jdbc:api:Profile=C:\profiles\Auth0.apip;Authscheme=OAuth;OAuthClientId=your_client_id;OAuthClientSecret=your_client_secret;CallbackUrl=your_callback_url;
SELECT Id, TriggerId FROM ActionBindings WHERE DisplayName = 'my-action-binding'
