SQL Server databases are commonly used to store enterprise records. It is often necessary to move this data to other locations. The CData SSIS Task for Azure Table allows you to easily transfer Azure Table data. In this article you will export data from SQL Server to Azure Table.
To get started, add a new ADO.NET Source control and a new Azure Table Destination control to the data flow task.

Follow the steps below to set required connection properties in the Connection Manager.
Specify your AccessKey and your Account to connect. Set the Account property to the Storage Account Name and set AccessKey to one of the Access Keys. Either the Primary or Secondary Access Keys can be used. To obtain these values, navigate to the Storage Accounts blade in the Azure portal. You can obtain the access key by selecting your account and clicking Access Keys in the Settings section.
In the destination component Connection Manager, define mappings from the SQL Server source table into the Azure Table destination table and the action you want to perform on the Azure Table data. In this article, you will insert NorthwindProducts entities to Azure Table.
You can now run the project. After the SSIS Task has finished executing, data from your SQL table will be exported to the chosen table.
