The CData ODBC Driver for Bitbucket seamlessly integrates Bitbucket data into database management tools like DBArtisan by enabling you to access Bitbucket data as a database. This article shows how to create an data source for Bitbucket in DBArtisan and execute queries. You can then edit data visually and execute standard SQL.
If you have not already, first specify connection properties in an ODBC DSN (data source name). This is the last step of the driver installation. You can use the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure ODBC DSNs.
For most queries, you must set the Workspace. The only exception to this is the Workspaces table, which does not require this property to be set, as querying it provides a list of workspace slugs that can be used to set Workspace. To query this table, you must set Schema to 'Information' and execute the query SELECT * FROM Workspaces>.
Setting Schema to 'Information' displays general information. To connect to Bitbucket, set these parameters:
Bitbucket supports OAuth authentication only. To enable this authentication from all OAuth flows, you must create a custom OAuth application, and set AuthScheme to OAuth.
Be sure to review the Help documentation for the required connection properties for you specific authentication needs (desktop applications, web applications, and headless machines).
From your Bitbucket account:
You can then follow the steps below to register Bitbucket data as a database instance in your project:
You can now work with Bitbucket data as you work with any other database. See the driver help documentation for more information on the queries supported by the Bitbucket API.

👁 Bitbucket IconThe Bitbucket ODBC Driver is a powerful tool that allows you to connect with live data from Bitbucket, directly from any applications that support ODBC connectivity.
Access Bitbucket data like you would a database - read, write, and update Bitbucket 0, etc. through a standard ODBC Driver interface.
