The CData JDBC Driver for JDBC-ODBC Bridge seamlessly integrates JDBC-ODBC Bridge data into database management tools like DBArtisan by enabling you to access JDBC-ODBC Bridge data as a database. This article shows how to create a JDBC source for JDBC-ODBC Bridge in DBArtisan. You can then edit data visually and execute standard SQL.
Follow the steps below to register JDBC-ODBC Bridge data as a database instance in your project:
For assistance in constructing the JDBC URL, use the connection string designer built into the JDBC-ODBC Bridge JDBC Driver. Either double-click the JAR file or execute the jar file from the command-line.
java -jar cdata.jdbc.jdbcodbc.jar
Fill in the connection properties and copy the connection string to the clipboard.

jdbc:jdbcodbc:Driver={ODBC_Driver_Name};Driver_Property1=Driver_Value1;Driver_Property2=Driver_Value2;...
You can now work with JDBC-ODBC Bridge data as you work with any other database. See the driver help documentation for more information on the queries supported by the JDBC-ODBC Bridge API.
