This article provides step-by-step guidance on connecting to Bullhorn CRM via CData Connect AI and subsequently analyzing Bullhorn CRM data within Cognos Analytics.

Connectivity to Bullhorn CRM from Cognos Analytics is made possible through CData Connect AI. To work with Bullhorn CRM data from Cognos Analytics, we start by creating and configuring a Bullhorn CRM connection.

If you are uncertain about your data center code, codes like CLS2, CLS21, etc. are cluster IDs that are contained in a user's browser URL (address bar) once they are logged in.
Example: https://cls21.bullhornstaffing.com/BullhornSTAFFING/MainFrame.jsp?#no-ba... indicates that the logged in user is on CLS21.
Bullhorn CRM uses the OAuth 2.0 authentication standard. To authenticate using OAuth, create and configure a custom OAuth app. See the Help documentation for more information.
👁 Configuring a connection (Salesforce is shown)When connecting to Connect AI through the REST API, the OData API, or the Virtual SQL Server, a Personal Access Token (PAT) is used to authenticate the connection to Connect AI. It is best practice to create a separate PAT for each service to maintain granularity of access.
With the connection configured and a PAT generated, you are ready to connect to Bullhorn CRM data from Cognos Analytics.
