Always-on applications rely on automatic failover capabilities and real-time data access. CData Sync integrates live CData Connect AI data into your Microsoft Access instance, allowing you to consolidate all of your data into a single location for archiving, reporting, analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and more.
Using CData Sync, you can replicate CData Connect AI data to Microsoft Access. To add a replication destination, navigate to the Connections tab.
Connecting to Access as a destination requires the Microsoft Access Database Engine, which can be downloaded from here.
Be sure to download the correct bitness of the driver as 64bit MS Office only works with the 64bit driver. If using 32bit MS Office, you will need to host DataSync in IIS and enable 32-bit applications. This can be set in the "Advanced Settings" for you Application Pool. Refer to Configuration in IIS for more information on hosting DataSync in IIS.
You can configure a connection to CData Connect AI from the Connections tab. To add a connection to your CData Connect AI account, navigate to the Connections tab.
There are two ways to connect to Connect AI: OAuth authentication and Basic authentication.
To connect to Connect AI using OAuth, set Auth Scheme to "OAuth." When the OAuth login page appears in your default web browser, log in to Connect AI to proceed.
If you are unable to use browser-based OAuth authentication to connect to Connect AI, you can use Basic authentication. In this case, set Auth Scheme to "Basic,"" and then set the User and Personal Access Token for Connect AI.
To connect the JDBC client to a specific workspace, you specify the workspace name in the Advanced tab of the JDBC driver for Connect AI.
