Step 1: Download and install CData Code Assist MCP for Dynamics NAV

Step 2: Configure the Connection to Dynamics NAV

1. After installation, you can open CData Code Assist MCP for Dynamics NAV from the Applications folder on your mac 👁 The Code Assist MCP configuration wizard
   
2. Click the dropdown menu in MCP Configuration > Configuration Name and select "new configuration" 👁 Creating a new configuration

4. Enter the appropriate connection properties in the configuration wizard.

   Before you can connect, OData Services will need to be enabled on the server. Once OData Services are enabled, you will be able to query any Services that are published on the server.

   The User and Password properties, under the Authentication section, must be set to valid Dynamics NAV user credentials. In addition, specify a URL to a valid Dynamics NAV server organization root and a ServerInstance. If there is not a Service Default Company for the server, set the Company as well.

3. After restarting, return to Settings > Connectors and click Add Connector
4. Select the Simple tab and assign a name for the connector (e.g., "CData Dynamics NAV"). In the Command box, enter the absolute path to the Code Assist MCP executable.
