In this article, we walk through two connections:
Connectivity to Amazon DynamoDB from Qlik Cloud is made possible through CData Connect AI. To work with Amazon DynamoDB data from Qlik Cloud, we start by creating and configuring a Amazon DynamoDB connection.
The connection to Amazon DynamoDB is made using your AccessKey, SecretKey, and optionally your Domain and Region. Your AccessKey and SecretKey can be obtained on the security credentials page for your Amazon Web Services account. Your Region will be displayed in the upper left-hand corner when you are logged into DynamoDB.
π Configuring a connection (Salesforce is shown)When connecting to Connect AI through the REST API, the OData API, or the Virtual SQL Server, a Personal Access Token (PAT) is used to authenticate the connection to Connect AI. It is best practice to create a separate PAT for each service to maintain granularity of access.
With the connection configured and a PAT generated, you are ready to connect to Amazon DynamoDB data from Qlik Sense Cloud.
This section explains how to add Amazon DynamoDB data to a Qlik Sense app for visualizations, analytics, reporting, and more.
With the data loaded into Qlik Sense, you are ready to begin discovering insights. You can build custom visualizations, reports, and dashboards engineered to gain actionable insights into your Amazon DynamoDB data.
