Reveal is a data visualization solution provided by Infragistics and can be paired with the CData API Server to build dynamic dashboards from live Google Data Catalog data. The CData API Server generates an OData API for Google Data Catalog, which is natively consumable in Reveal. In this article, we walk through connecting to Google Data Catalog in API Server and connecting to the API Server from Infragistics Reveal to create a simple dashboard.
CData API Server uses a straightforward, point-and-click interface to connect to data sources and generate APIs.
Google Data Catalog uses the OAuth authentication standard. Authorize access to Google APIs on behalf on individual users or on behalf of users in a domain.
Before connecting, specify the following to identify the organization and project you would like to connect to:

Find this by navigating to the cloud console dashboard and selecting your project from the Select from drop-down. The project ID will be present in the Project info card.
When you connect, the OAuth endpoint opens in your default browser. Log in and grant permissions to the application to completes the OAuth process. For more information, refer to the OAuth section in the Help documentation.

Create a User to connect to Google Data Catalog from Reveal through API Server.
When accessing and connecting to multiple different domains from an application such as Ajax, there is a possibility of violating the limitations of cross-site scripting. In that case, configure the CORS settings in Settings -> Server.
Save the changes to the settings.
