Google Sheets is a web-based spreadsheet program provided by Google. When integrated with Connect Spreadsheets by CData, you can effortlessly gain access to Google Search results directly within Google Sheets for tasks such as data analysis, collaboration, calculations, and more. This article offers a comprehensive guide on connecting to Google Search within Connect Spreadsheets and accessing live Google Search results seamlessly within Google Sheets.

Configure Google Search Connectivity for Google Sheets

Connectivity to Google Search from Google Sheets is made possible through Connect Spreadsheets. To work with Google Search results from Google Sheets, we start by creating and configuring a Google Search connection.

    To search with a Google custom search engine, you need to set the CustomSearchId and ApiKey connection properties.

    To obtain the ApiKey property, you must enable the Custom Search API in the Google API Console.
