Nintex Workflow Cloud is a cloud-based platform where you can design workflows to automate simple or complex processes using drag-and-drop interactions β without writing any code. When paired with CData Connect AI, you get instant, cloud-to-cloud access to Sage Intacct data for business applications. This article shows how to create a virtual database for Sage Intacct in Connect AI and build a simple workflow from Sage Intacct data in Nintex.
CData Connect AI provides a pure, cloud-to-cloud interface for Sage Intacct, allowing you to build workflows from live Sage Intacct data in Nintex Workflow Cloud β without replicating the data to a natively supported database. Nintex allows you to access data directly using SQL queries. Using optimized data processing out of the box, CData Connect AI pushes all supported SQL operations (filters, JOINs, etc.) directly to Sage Intacct, leveraging server-side processing to quickly return the requested Sage Intacct data.
CData provides the easiest way to access and integrate live data from Sage Intact. Customers use CData connectivity to:
Users frequently integrate Sage Intact with analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel, and leverage our tools to replicate Workday data to databases or data warehouses.

Connectivity to Sage Intacct from Nintex is made possible through CData Connect AI. To work with Sage Intacct data from Nintex, we start by creating and configuring a Sage Intacct connection.
To connect using the Login method, the following connection properties are required: User, Password, CompanyId, SenderId and SenderPassword.
User, Password, and CompanyId are the credentials for the account you wish to connect to.
SenderId and SenderPassword are the Web Services credentials assigned to you by Sage Intacct.
π Configuring a connection (Salesforce is shown)When connecting to Connect AI through the REST API, the OData API, or the Virtual SQL Server, a Personal Access Token (PAT) is used to authenticate the connection to Connect AI. It is best practice to create a separate PAT for each service to maintain granularity of access.
With the connection configured and a PAT generated, you are ready to connect to Sage Intacct data from Nintex Workflow Cloud.
The steps below outline creating a new connection to Sage Intacct data from Nintex (via Connect AI).
With the connection to CData Connect AI configured, we are ready to build a simple workflow to access Sage Intacct data. Start by clicking the "Create workflow" button.
Once you configure the actions, click "Save," name the Workflow, and click "Save" again. You now have a simple workflow that will query Sage Intacct using SQL and sand an email with the results.
