To work with live Sage Intacct data in Salesforce Connect, we need to connect to Sage Intacct from Connect AI, provide user access to the connection, and create a Workspace for the Sage Intacct data.
CData Connect AI uses a straightforward, point-and-click interface to connect to data sources.
To connect using the Login method, the following connection properties are required: User, Password, CompanyId, SenderId and SenderPassword.
User, Password, and CompanyId are the credentials for the account you wish to connect to.
SenderId and SenderPassword are the Web Services credentials assigned to you by Sage Intacct.
π Configuring a connection (Salesforce is shown)When connecting to Connect AI through the REST API, the OData API, or the Virtual SQL Server, a Personal Access Token (PAT) is used to authenticate the connection to Connect AI. It is best practice to create a separate PAT for each service to maintain granularity of access.
After connecting to Sage Intacct, create a workspace for your desired table(s).
With the connection, PAT, and Workspace configured, you are ready to connect to Sage Intacct data from Salesforce Connect.
Follow the steps below to connect to the feed produced by Connect AI.
After you have created the external data source, follow the steps below to create Sage Intacct external objects that reflect any changes in the data source. You will synchronize the definitions for the Sage Intacct external objects with the definitions for Sage Intacct tables.
After adding Sage Intacct data as an external data source and syncing Sage Intacct tables as external objects, you can use the external Sage Intacct objects just as you would standard Salesforce objects.
