The CData JDBC Driver for LinkedIn Ads seamlessly integrates LinkedIn Ads data into database management tools like DBArtisan by enabling you to access LinkedIn Ads data as a database. This article shows how to create a JDBC source for LinkedIn Ads in DBArtisan. You can then edit data visually and execute standard SQL.
Follow the steps below to register LinkedIn Ads data as a database instance in your project:
LinkedIn Ads uses the OAuth authentication standard. OAuth requires the authenticating user to interact with LinkedIn using the browser. See the OAuth section in the Help documentation for a guide.
For assistance in constructing the JDBC URL, use the connection string designer built into the LinkedIn Ads JDBC Driver. Either double-click the JAR file or execute the jar file from the command-line.
java -jar cdata.jdbc.linkedinads.jar
Fill in the connection properties and copy the connection string to the clipboard.

jdbc:linkedinads:OAuthClientId=MyOAuthClientId;OAuthClientSecret=MyOAuthClientSecret;CallbackURL=http://localhost:portNumber;InitiateOAuth=GETANDREFRESH;
You can now work with LinkedIn Ads data as you work with any other database. See the driver help documentation for more information on the queries supported by the LinkedIn Ads API.
