This article shows how to connect to Monday.com in Tableau and build a simple chart.
The CData Tableau Connectors enable high-speed access to live Monday.com data in Tableau. Once you install the connector, you simply authenticate with Monday.com and you can immediately start building responsive, dynamic visualizations and dashboards. By surfacing Monday.com data using native Tableau data types and handling complex filters, aggregations, & other operations automatically, CData Tableau Connectors grant seamless access to Monday.com data.
NOTE: The CData Tableau Connectors require Tableau 2020.3 or higher. If you are using an older version of Tableau, you will need to use the CData JDBC Driver. If you wish to connect to Monday.com data in Tableau Cloud, you will need to use CData Connect AI.
Open Tableau and click More under Connect -> To a Server. Select "Monday.com by CData," then configure the connection and click "Sign In."
You can connect to Monday.com using either API Token authentication or OAuth authentication.
Connect to Monday.com by specifying the APIToken. Set the AuthScheme to Token and obtain the APIToken as follows:
Alternatively, you can establish a connection using OAuth (refer to the OAuth section of the Help documentation).
