This tutorial shows how to transfer and browse MYOB AccountRight data in Informatica PowerCenter.
Information for connecting to MYOB AccountRight follows, along with different instructions for configuring a DSN in Windows and Linux environments.
These properties are required when connecting to a company file (both for Cloud and On-Premise instances).
To connect to a cloud instance of MYOB, you can use the embedded OAuth credentials or create an OAuth app with MYOB. This process is detailed in the Help documentation.
When connecting to an on-premise instance, set the following connection property in addition to those above:
If you have not already, first specify connection properties in an ODBC DSN (data source name). This is the last step of the driver installation. You can use the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure ODBC DSNs.
If you are installing the CData ODBC Driver for MYOB AccountRight in a Linux environment, the driver installation predefines a system DSN. You can modify the DSN by editing the system data sources file (/etc/odbc.ini) and defining the required connection properties.

NOTE: If you are working in a Linux operating system, set the Driver Manager for Linux property to unixODBC 2.3.x.
After you have created an ODBC connection to MYOB AccountRight, you can now access MYOB AccountRight entities in Informatica. Follow the steps below to add Accounts entities to your project.
You can now browse the table in the Data Viewer: Right-click the node for the table and then click Open. On the Data Viewer view, click Run.
