The CData JDBC Driver for Notion enables you to use the data transformation components in CloverDX (formerly CloverETL) to work with Notion as sources. In this article, you will use the JDBC Driver for Notion to set up a simple transfer into a flat file.
Start by setting the Profile connection property to the location of the Notion Profile on disk (e.g. C:\profiles\Notion.apip). Next, set the ProfileSettings connection property to the connection string for Notion (see below).
Go to https://www.notion.so/my-integrations, create an internal integration, configure the name and workspace, then copy the Internal Integration Token from the Secrets section.
For assistance in constructing the JDBC URL, use the connection string designer built into the Notion JDBC Driver. Either double-click the JAR file or execute the jar file from the command-line.
java -jar cdata.jdbc.api.jar
Fill in the connection properties and copy the connection string to the clipboard.
👁 Using the built-in connection string designer to generate a JDBC URL (Salesforce is shown.)A typical JDBC URL is below:
jdbc:api:Profile=C:\profiles\Notion.apip;ProfileSettings='APIKey=your_integration_token';
SELECT Id, Object FROM BlockChildren WHERE Type = 'page'
