This guide explains everything you need to get started with the Microsoft OneDrive PowerShell Cmdlets. You'll learn how to install the cmdlets, configure your first connection, run queries, and explore next steps for working with Microsoft OneDrive data in PowerShell.

CData Cmdlets are delivered through the PowerShell Gallery, ensuring a simple and consistent installation process across platforms.

Once the module is installed and licensed, you can establish a connection to Microsoft OneDrive using the
Connect-Microsoft OneDrive cmdlet
After obtaining the needed connection properties, accessing Microsoft OneDrive data in PowerShell and preparing for replication consists of four basic steps.
OneDrive uses the OAuth authentication standard. To authenticate using OAuth, create an app to obtain the OAuthClientId, OAuthClientSecret, and CallbackURL connection properties. See the OAuth section of the Help documentation for an authentication guide.
Install the module:

Connect to Microsoft OneDrive:
$onedrive = Connect-OneDrive -OAuthClientId $OAuthClientId -OAuthClientSecret $OAuthClientSecret -OAuthCallbackURL $OAuthCallbackURL -InitiateOAuth $InitiateOAuth
Once connected, you can query data using standard SQL like commands.

Display the results:

You have now successfully accessed Microsoft OneDrive data from PowerShell!
