Connect to Oracle SCM Data from Blazor Apps

Start by creating a Blazor project that references the CData ADO.NET Provider for Oracle SCM

1. Create a Blazor project on Visual Studio.

3. In the Reference Manager, click the Browse button, and choose the .dll file of the installed ADO.NET Provider (e.g. System.Data.CData.OracleSCM.dll, typically located at C:\Program Files\CData\CData ADO.NET Provider for Oracle SCM\lib etstandard2.0).

SELECT Oracle SCM Data from the Blazor App

1. Open the Index.razor file from the Project page.
2. In a OracleSCMConnection object, set the connection string:

   The following connection properties are required to connect to Oracle SCM data.

   • Url: The URL of the account that you want to connect to. Typically, this will be the URL of your Oracle Cloud service. For example, https://servername.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com.
   • User: The username of your Oracle Cloud service account.
   • Password: The password of your Oracle Cloud service account.

   For example: Url=https://myinstance.oraclecloud.com;User=user;Password=password;

3. The code below creates a simple Blazor app for displaying Oracle SCM data, using standard SQL to query Oracle SCM just like SQL Server.
