Embarcadero RAD Studio provides a development environment for Delphi and C++Builder applications. With the CData ODBC Driver for PhantomBuster, you gain access to live PhantomBuster data within RAD Studio, abstracting the data into tables, views, and stored procedures that can be used to both retrieve PhantomBuster data. This article will walk through connecting to PhantomBuster using the Data Explorer.
If you have not already, first specify connection properties in an ODBC DSN (data source name). This is the last step of the driver installation. You can use the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure ODBC DSNs.
To use the Phantombuster API, you need to obtain an API key from your Phantombuster account settings. Navigate to phantombuster.com, click your profile icon, select Settings, and copy the API key from the API section.
After setting the following connection properties, you are ready to connect:
If your API key is associated with multiple organizations, you can target a specific organization by setting the OrganizationId connection property to the desired organization identifier. When set, it is sent as the X-Phantombuster-Org request header.
Profile=C:\profiles\Phantombuster.apip;AuthScheme=APIKey;ProfileSettings="APIKey=your_api_key_here"
You can create a simple application for displaying PhantomBuster data by utilizing the CData FireDAC Components for PhantomBuster and a new VCL Forms Application:
Create a new VCL Forms application and drag a view (for example: Agents) onto the form.
๐ Placing the View on the Form. (Salesforce is shown.)Right-click on the object, bind visually, and link everything (*) to a new control (TStringGrid).
๐ Visually Binding the View. (Salesforce is shown.)Arrange the TStringGrid on the form and run the application to see the Agents data.
๐ The View data on a Form. (Salesforce is shown.)Below you can find other articles for using the CData ODBC Driver with RAD Studio, Delphi, and C++ Builder.
