IBM SPSS Modeler is a powerful data mining and predictive analytics platform that enables organizations to extract valuable insights from their data. By connecting PingOne data data to SPSS Modeler via the CData ODBC Driver for PingOne, you can leverage real-time access for advanced data mining, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
This guide takes you through the steps of connecting IBM SPSS Modeler to PingOne data, enabling seamless data import, preparation, and analysis. With the CData ODBC Driver for PingOne, you can unlock the full potential of your PingOne data data within IBM SPSS Modeler for actionable insights.
Here is an overview of the steps:
To start, configure the DSN (Data Source Name) for PingOne data in your system using the CData ODBC Driver. Download and install a 30-day free trial with all the features from here.
Once installed, launch the ODBC Data Source Administrator:
Once launched, double-click on the CData PingOne data Source and enter the required values to establish a connection:
To connect to PingOne, configure these properties:
is the ID of the PingOne environment in which your Worker application resides. This parameter is used only when the environment is using the default PingOne domain (auth.pingone). It is configured after you have created the custom OAuth application you will use to authenticate to PingOne, as described in Creating a Custom OAuth Application in the Help documentation.
First, find the value for this property:
WorkerAppEnvironmentId='11e96fc7-aa4d-4a60-8196-9acf91424eca'
Now set to the value of the Environment ID field.
is the base URL of the PingOne authorization server for the environment where your application is located. This property is only used when you have set up a custom domain for the environment, as described in the PingOne platform API documentation. See Custom Domains.
PingOne supports both OAuth and OAuthClient authentication. In addition to performing the configuration steps described above, there are two more steps to complete to support OAuth or OAuthCliet authentication:
Set to OAuth.
Get and Refresh the OAuth Access Token
After setting the following, you are ready to connect:
When you connect, the driver opens PingOne's OAuth endpoint in your default browser. Log in and grant permissions to the application. The driver then completes the OAuth process:
The driver refreshes the access token automatically when it expires.
For other OAuth methods, including Web Applications, Headless Machines, or Client Credentials Grant, refer to the Help documentation.
π Configuring ODBC DSN (Salesforce is shown)After configuring the DSN, it's time to connect to it in IBM SPSS Modeler:
You are now ready to process and analyze the PingOne data data in IBM SPSS Modeler.
Once the tables are imported, you can refine, filter, categorize, and model your PingOne data data in SPSS Modeler:
You have now performed a simple analysis, enabling SPSS Modeler to process and display insights from your database.
With the CData ODBC Driver for PingOne, connecting PingOne data data to IBM SPSS Modeler is seamless. Start your free trial today and unlock the full potential of your real-time data for advanced analytics and decision-making.
