The CData JDBC Driver for RabbitMQ fully implements the JDBC standard and can provide RabbitMQ data connectivity to a wide variety of BI, reporting, and ETL tools and custom applications. In this article, we explain how to set RabbitMQ data as JDBC data source in FineReport and view RabbitMQ data as a table in the Report Designer.
Follow the instruction below to set RabbitMQ data as a FineReport database connection.

RabbitMQ is an open-source message broker that supports multiple messaging protocols. The RabbitMQ Management HTTP API provides HTTP-based access to management and monitoring data for a RabbitMQ server. The API exposes information about virtual hosts, exchanges, queues, bindings, connections, channels, consumers, users, permissions, policies, and cluster-wide statistics.
The Management plugin must be enabled on the RabbitMQ server for the HTTP API to be available. By default, the management interface listens on port 15672.
RabbitMQ Management HTTP API uses HTTP Basic authentication. You must supply the username and password of a RabbitMQ management user.
To enable access to the management API:
After configuring your RabbitMQ server, set the following connection properties to connect:

For assistance in constructing the JDBC URL, use the connection string designer built into the RabbitMQ JDBC Driver. Either double-click the JAR file or execute the jar file from the command-line.

Fill in the connection properties and copy the connection string to the clipboard.
π Using the built-in connection string designer to generate a JDBC URL (Salesforce is shown.)When you configure the JDBC URL, you may also want to set the Max Rows connection property. This will limit the number of rows returned, which is especially helpful for improving performance when designing reports and visualizations.
A typical JDBC URL is below:

Click Test connection to ensure you have configured the connection properly. With the connection to RabbitMQ set up, you can use it as FineReport data source.
