The CData ODBC Driver for Sage Cloud Accounting enables access to live data from Sage Cloud Accounting under the ODBC standard, allowing you work with Sage Cloud Accounting data in a wide variety of BI, reporting, and ETL tools and directly, using familiar SQL queries. This article shows how to connect to Sage Cloud Accounting data as a generic ODBC Data Provider and create charts, reports, and dashboards based on Sage Cloud Accounting data in Dundas BI.
You can connect to Sage Business Cloud Accounting using the embedded OAuth connectivity. When you connect, the OAuth endpoint opens in your browser. Log in and grant permissions to complete the OAuth process. See the OAuth section in the online Help documentation for more information on other OAuth authentication flows.
When you configure the DSN, you may also want to set the Max Rows connection property. This will limit the number of rows returned, which is especially helpful for improving performance when designing reports and visualizations.
