Reveal, an offering from Infragistics, serves as a data visualization tool that seamlessly integrates with CData Connect AI. Together, they empower users to deliver dynamic dashboards using real-time data from a diverse range of data sources, including Salesforce Marketing data. In this article, we will guide you through the process of connecting to Salesforce Marketing via Connect AI and subsequently linking Connect AI with Infragistics Reveal to construct a straightforward dashboard.
To work with live Salesforce Marketing data in Infragistics Reveal, we need to connect to Salesforce Marketing from Connect AI, provide user access to the connection, and create a Workspace for the Salesforce Marketing data.
CData Connect AI uses a straightforward, point-and-click interface to connect to data sources.
Authenticating to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs
Set the and to your login credentials, or to the credentials for a sandbox user if you are connecting to a sandbox account.
Connecting to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs
By default, the data provider connects to production environments. Set to true to use a Salesforce Marketing Cloud sandbox account.
The default Instance is s7 of the Web Services API; however, if you use a different instance, you can set .
π Configuring a connection (Salesforce is shown)When connecting to Connect AI through the REST API, the OData API, or the Virtual SQL Server, a Personal Access Token (PAT) is used to authenticate the connection to Connect AI. It is best practice to create a separate PAT for each service to maintain granularity of access.
After connecting to Salesforce Marketing, create a workspace for your desired table(s).
With the connection, PAT, and Workspace configured, you are ready to connect to Salesforce Marketing data from Infragistics Reveal.
With Connect AI configured, we can visualize Salesforce Marketing data in Reveal.
