SQL Server databases are commonly used to store enterprise records. It is often necessary to move this data to other locations. The CData SSIS Task for SAP Netweaver Gateway allows you to easily transfer SAP Netweaver Gateway data. In this article you will export data from SQL Server to SAP Netweaver Gateway.
To get started, add a new ADO.NET Source control and a new SAP Netweaver Gateway Destination control to the data flow task.

Follow the steps below to set required connection properties in the Connection Manager.
SAP Gateway allows both basic and OAuth 2.0 authentication. You can use basic authentication to connect to your own account, or you can use OAuth to enable other users to retrieve data from your service with their accounts. In addition to authenticating, set the following connection properties to access SAP Gateway tables.
In basic authentication, you use your login credentials to connect. Set the following properties:
You can connect to SAP Gateway using the embedded OAuth connectivity (without setting any additional authentication connection properties). When you connect, the OAuth endpoint opens in your browser. Log in and grant permissions to complete the OAuth process. See the OAuth section in the online Help documentation for more information on other OAuth authentication flows.
In the destination component Connection Manager, define mappings from the SQL Server source table into the SAP Netweaver Gateway destination table and the action you want to perform on the SAP Netweaver Gateway data. In this article, you will insert SalesOrderLineItems entities to SAP Netweaver Gateway.
You can now run the project. After the SSIS Task has finished executing, data from your SQL table will be exported to the chosen table.
