Here is an overview of the steps:
To start, configure the DSN (Data Source Name) for ServiceNow data in your system using the CData ODBC Driver for ServiceNow. Download and install a 30-day free trial with all the features from here.
Once installed, launch the ODBC Data Source Administrator:
Once launched, double-click on the CData ServiceNow data Source and enter the required values to establish a connection:
ServiceNow uses the OAuth 2.0 authentication standard. To authenticate using OAuth, register an OAuth app with ServiceNow to obtain the OAuthClientId and OAuthClientSecret connection properties. In addition to the OAuth values, specify the Instance, Username, and Password connection properties.
