The CData Excel Add-In for Snapchat Ads provides formulas that can edit, save, and delete Snapchat Ads data. The following three steps show how you can automate the following task: Search Snapchat Ads data for a user-specified value and then organize the results into an Excel spreadsheet.
The syntax of the CDATAQUERY formula is the following:
=CDATAQUERY(Query, [Connection], [Parameters], [ResultLocation]);
This formula requires three inputs:
Connection: Either the connection name, such as SnapchatAdsConnection1, or a connection string. The connection string consists of the required properties for connecting to Snapchat Ads data, separated by semicolons.
Create an OAuth application to connect to Snapchat Ads. See the online Help documentation for an authentication guide.
Additionally, you can optionally set AccountId to provide a default Account ID (meaning it won't need to be manually provided in the WHERE clause). If the AccountId is not specified, the first account in the Accounts view is used.
The procedure below results in a spreadsheet that organizes all the formula inputs in the first column.
=CDATAQUERY("SELECT * FROM Campaigns WHERE Id = '"&B2&"'","InitiateOAuth="&B1&";Provider=SnapchatAds",B3)
