The CData Excel Add-In for Snapchat Ads enables you to edit and save Snapchat Ads data directly from Excel. This article explains how to transfer data from Excel to Snapchat Ads. This technique is useful if you want to work on Snapchat Ads data in Excel and update changes, or if you have a whole spreadsheet you want to import into Snapchat Ads. In this example, you will use the Campaigns table; however, the same process will work for any table that can be retrieved by the CData Excel Add-In.
If you have not already done so, create a new Snapchat Ads connection by clicking From Snapchat Ads on the ribbon.
Create an OAuth application to connect to Snapchat Ads. See the online Help documentation for an authentication guide.
Additionally, you can optionally set AccountId to provide a default Account ID (meaning it won't need to be manually provided in the WHERE clause). If the AccountId is not specified, the first account in the Accounts view is used.
To insert data into Snapchat Ads, you will first need to retrieve data from the Snapchat Ads table you want to add to. This links the Excel spreadsheet to the Snapchat Ads table selected: After you retrieve data, any changes you make to the data are highlighted in red.
After retrieving data, you can add data from an existing spreadsheet in Excel.
As each row is inserted, the Id value will appear in the Id column and the row's text will change to black, indicating that the record has been inserted.
