Access Live Splunk Data in Google Sheets through Connect Spreadsheets

Google Sheets is a web-based spreadsheet program provided by Google. When integrated with Connect Spreadsheets by CData, you can effortlessly gain access to Splunk data directly within Google Sheets for tasks such as data analysis, collaboration, calculations, and more. Configure Splunk Connectivity for Google Sheets

Connectivity to Splunk from Google Sheets is made possible through Connect Spreadsheets. To work with Splunk data from Google Sheets, we start by creating and configuring a Splunk connection.

1. Log into Connect Spreadsheets, click Sources and click Add Connection 👁 Adding a Connection

3. Enter the necessary authentication properties to connect to Splunk.

   To authenticate requests, set the , , and properties to valid Splunk credentials. The port on which the requests are made to Splunk is port 8089.

   The data provider uses plain-text authentication by default, since the data provider attempts to negotiate TLS/SSL with the server.
