In today's business environment, the ability to translate complex research into clear, persuasive narratives is critical. This course provides a systematic process to analyze audience needs so messages are relevant and impactful. You will learn to distill complex findings into core insights that connect directly to financial outcomes and strategic objectives. In this course, a "compelling" narrative means clearly explaining reasoning and implications, not persuading through emotion.
Through hands-on activities, you will learn to structure a logical story arc that frames a business problem, presents findings as the solution, and builds a clear business case. You will also practice evaluating and refining the sequence and flow of presentations, using feedback to ensure clarity, engagement, and alignment with the intended conclusion. By the end of the course, you will be able to transform raw data into a strategic tool that drives action and secures executive buy-in.
This module focuses on the foundational principle of all effective communication: knowing your audience so you can use storytelling as a strategic business skill, using narrative to communicate clear insights and influence decision-making. Effective narratives do more than informβthey shape priorities, influence funding decisions, and drive action. Using real-world examples like Spotify Wrapped, you will learn to identify the core insights from your research that connect directly to business impact and structure them into a logical story arc.
