Talk about technology and the planet in clear, confident English. First, you will explore the history of cars in the United States while building vocabulary for cars and automotive technology. You will practice comparative adjectives to compare two things and use imperatives to give and follow directions. Then, you will turn to sustainability and learn vocabulary for helping the Earth, including the meaning and impact of Earth Day. You will create longer sentences with because, when, and if, and use can for possibility as you discuss actions that support a cleaner environment. Across both modules, you will work through readings and listenings, vocabulary practice, grammar guides and quizzes, and writing and speaking showcases. By the end, you will be able to compare products, give directions, and explain ideas about environmental choices in everyday conversations.
