My copy is flat and quiet. Sounds really great to me. A little static between a couple of tracks and on runouts, but they don't detract from the listening experience. Excellent National album.

Lovely job by Kevin Gray / Cohearant and Optimal on this one. Flawless pressing, great clarity, and enjoyable performances. This is a winner, especially if you are a fan of jazz percussion.

Well, hell yeah! Live 1976 has no right sounding this good. If you love the Ramones - get this! A thumping adrenaline rush that sounds terrific.

Frances, I clean every record before I play it, starting with a run through the Spin-Clean. Blue Note has some pressing quality control issues.

I'm generally happy with this pressing. My copy has a few pops and some minor surface noise, but, overall, it sounds very good. Full, crisp...nice presentation of this terrific album.

Crisp, clear, detailed, perhaps slightly lacking on the low end, but I think that is the original mix. Pressing seems fine. Just a lovely record, one of my favorites by Van.

The pressings are very good quality. Not sure this really needed a box set, but that said, I'm happy to have this collection. These brief meetings of these legends produced some wonderful music, fun stuff!
