The Ferry Discount Program, administered by NYC Ferry (โ€œNYCFโ€), permits eligible individuals to purchase a reduced fare One-Way Ticket for $1.45.
Senior citizens,
ages 65 and older

Senior citizens, ages 65 and older must submit one of the following documents to verify your identity and age:
  • Government-issued ID (e.g., driverโ€™s license or REAL ID from any state, IDNYC, passport from any country, Tribal ID, or US Military ID)
  • Expired governmentโ€‘issued ID, including passport from any country or Tribal ID (expired within the past 3 years)
  • Birth certificate or adoption papers
  • Medicare Card
People with
disabilities

People with disabilities must submit one of the following:
  • MTA Reduced Fare or Access-A-Ride MetroCard
  • MTA Reduced Fare or Access-A-Ride OMNY Card
  • New York State Commission for the Blind Registration letter
  • Disability Award letter from the Social Security Administration, Railroad Retirement Board, or the U.S. Postal Service
  • Veterans Administration letter stating you are entitled to Veteran Disability Benefits

  • Screenshot of Access HRA or Fair Fares OMNY Account showing current enrollment, serial number, and enrollment/expiration dates
