Elliot is a Mushroom person appearing in the Super Mario Bros. comic "Elect Mario for Man of the Year." In the comic, he is seen asking his mother to buy him a Shyguy mask at the Koopamart, and asks Mario to help reach one that he cannot reach, which he agrees to get. He manages to get the mask for Elliot, though his mother immediately tosses it away, saying that he will not actually want it. The Shyguy mask lands in Mario's shopping cart, setting the story's plot in motion. Elliot is last grabbing and using a G.I. Bullet Bill Heat-Seeker toy gun, scaring away the nearby customers.
