Effect Lightning Shot

The Lightning Racket is a Fever Racket in Mario Tennis Fever. It is available from the start. The racket is yellow with a shaft shaped like two lightning bolts, a yellow handle with a black stripe, and a Lightning emblem on its yellow net. When fully charged, the racket gives off electrical sparks.

Fever Shot[edit]

The Lightning Racket's Fever Shot is called the Lightning Shot. When used, it turns a large circular area around where the ball bounces into an electric field. The field sends waves of electricity in regular intervals, and if a player touches the electrical wave, they receive damage and get briefly stunned. The field also immediately discharges when the Fever shot lands on the court for the first time.

Adventure Mode[edit]

The Lightning Racket first appears in Mario Tennis Fever's Adventure mode at the Limestone Cave, where it is eaten by a Mega Cheep Chomp, transforming it into the Lightning Cheep Chomp. After the boss is defeated, Mario unlocks the racket to be used in the mode.
