Definition of dump

i. A pile or heap of ore, coal, or waste at a mine.

ii. The point where a face conveyor discharges its coal into mine cars.

iii. The tipple by which the cars are dumped.

iv. The fall available for disposal of refuse at the mouth of a mine.
