Found Sept 1996. This is a specimen of gonnardite on natrolite. The gonnardite fluoresces bluish-white, the natrolite, which forms the cores of the crystals, and is visible on the ends of broken ones, does not fluoresce. Found Sept 1996. This is a specimen of gonnardite on natrolite. The gonnardite fluoresces bluish-white, the natrolite, which forms the cores of the crystals, and is visible on the ends of broken ones, does not fluoresce. In addition, there is a white mineral that fluoresces very bright blue. I don’t know what it is and there is probably not ...

The main xl is 2.3 cm tall and has a cross section of 1.2 x 1.0 cm. Found August 28th 1999. This is from a miarolitic cavity and the whole back side is a "contact". The white material is just a shell (about 1-2 mm) surrounding typical glassy natrolite. However I don't think this outer shell is gonnardite (as is common at MSH) because it ...
