Joppa Hill and Old Granite Quarry locales of Amherst, N . H., became a reality...of Amherst, they always directed
us to several granite quarries in Milford,

of Strickland Quarry, Portland, uraninite,
lepidolite, beryl, columbite...Committee, brought along his charming wife
and year old son, who after bruising his forehead on a rock was...awakening. Here was an interesting
contrast between the old time and the modern.
Our cars whizzed by the quaint...members we found our way
up to Mt. Adam. The old granite quarry on
