Ancylite-(Ce), CeSr(CO3)2(OH)•H2O: Recently, translucent pink ancylite-(Ce) and honey-yellow...honey-yellow calcioancylite(Ce) crystals to 1 mm long were discovered on an old specimen of orange stilbite crystals...excavation of the 63rd Street subway tunnel. The ancylite-(Ce)
crystals were in a crevice between the stilbite...and octahedral pyrite crystals at the Kip’s Bay
quarry in east midtown Manhattan (Chamberlin 1888).
