| Description | Binneyitidae is a family of Upper Cretaceous ammonoid cephalopods characterized by rather small, compressed, flat sided shells and sutures that tend to have deep, narrow, simple elements with parallel sides, that range from the upper Cenomanian into the lower Santonian.
