With her trademark husky voice (a results of surgery to remove nodules from her vocal cords) she went on to have a string of further hits including Total Eclipse of the Heart and Holding Out for a Hero. It was announced in March 2013 that she would represent the UK at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
