These six teams compete against each other in a round-robin format, with each team playing every other team once. The tournament traditionally takes place in the Northern Hemisphere during the spring, usually from February to March. The Six Nations is one of the oldest and most prestigious rugby competitions in the world, dating back to the late 19th century. It attracts significant attention and has a large fan base across Europe and beyond.
