Biography

Lieutenant Jim Flynn was stationed with Curragh Command at Curragh Camp when he was one of 12 servicemen that were selected to compete on the Irish basketball team at the 1948 Olympics. He later retired at the rank of Colonel and resided in Cork during his later years.
