In this competition, shooters could choose either the kneeling or standing position but, presumably, everybody shot kneeling, which is a much more stable and accurate position. The gold medal went to Switzerland’s Marcel Meyer de Stadelhofen, who was five points ahead of his teammate Konrad Stäheli. Little else is known of this event.
