Released today ahead of a potential Proton 10.0 release for re-basing Valve's Steam Play tech atop the recent Wine 10.0 release, DXVK 2.6 is out today as the newest iteration of this Direct3D 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 implementation atop the Vulkan API for enhancing the Linux gaming experience.

Most notable with DXVK 2.6 is introducing NVIDIA Reflex support in conjunction with Proton Experimental and Vulkan drivers supporting the VK_NV_low_latency2 extension. Reflex can be enabled within D3D11 games using this feature like for God of War 2, Overwatch 2, and Quake Champions.

DXVK 2.6 also brings numerous D3D10 / D3D11 fixes and improvements such as for Assassin's Creed 3, various GPU-bound performance enhancements, various other performance optimizations, and more. There are also a handful of fixes for older Direct3D 8 and Direct3D 9 titles.
