Mesa 26.0.8 Released To End Out The Series

Eric Engestrom announced the release of Mesa 26.0.8 today as the latest stable point release of that Q1'2026 driver series and the last planned update for that stable series.

With Mesa 26.1 stable in good shape, Mesa 26.0.8 is out as the last planned release to last quarter's stable series. Users in turn should upgrade to the current Mesa 26.1 stable series or if feeling adventurous the current Mesa 26.2-dev series for the very latest features and performance optimizations.

Making it into Mesa 26.0.8 is a RADV workaround for Forza Horizon 6, PowerVR Vulkan driver fixes, a few Windows GLX fixes, an Intel ANV fix for Dragon Dogma 2, fixing the build against the current LLVM 23 code, a few NVK fixes, and a variety of other small fixes.

The full list of patches for Mesa 26.0.8 can be found via today's release announcement.
